Skärhamns IK

Skärhamns IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Skärhamns IK, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Skärhamns IK could be found in Group 7 together with Mjölby AI/FF, Marin FC and Sollentuna FK 1. Skärhamns IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Älvsborg FF with 0-3. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Skärhamns comes from Skärhamn which lies approximately 36 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skärhamn does also provide 32 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: RCD Espanyol Academy Göteborg, IF Warta, Öckerö IF, Orust FC, Hermansby IF, Ale United, Edet FK, Torslanda IK, Kärra KIF and Hisingsbacka FC).
