FC Süderelbe

FC Süderelbe was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to FC Süderelbe, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof FC Süderelbe could be found in Group 7 together with FC Obermais, Prep School Lions Blue and V. Frölunda IF 2. FC Süderelbe continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Makati FC with 1-12. In the Final, Makati FC won over Utsiktens BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. FC Süderelbe comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: FC Nordic Tigers e.V., FC Teutonia 05, SC Alstertal-Langenhorn, FC Alsterbrüder, SG Quickborn, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, SC Nienstedten, VfL Sittensen, TSV Brunsbrock and JFV Südholstein).
