IF Warta

IF Warta was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IF Warta, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof IF Warta could be found in Group 27 together with Nordic United FC, Karbener SV 1890 2 and Skeid 2. IF Warta continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against SG Oberliederbach with 1-3. In the Final, Halmstads BK won over Qviding FIF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Warta originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 74 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: IFK Hindås, RCD Espanyol Academy Göteborg, Öjersjö IF/ Björndammen, Mölnlycke IF, Särö Kullavik IF, Tölö IF, Lindome GIF, IFK Göteborg, Öckerö IF and Hermansby IF).
