They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Backatorp IF could be found in Group 1 together with Legends FC, FC Passau and Trollhättans FK/Halvorstorps IS. Backatorp IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IK Frej Täby with 0-2. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Backatorp IF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off B, but lost it against IFK Västerås FK 1 with 1-2.
