Backatorp IF 1

In addition to the two Backatorp teams, 180 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Backatorp IF 1 could be found in Group 29 together with Hammarby IF, BRFC and Carvalho International Football Academy. Backatorp IF 1 continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Azul FC with 0-1. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Backatorp IF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against St. Paul Blackhawks Albrecht with 1-2.
