V. Frölunda IF

In addition to V. Frölunda IF, 110 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof V. Frölunda IF could be found in Group 21 together with St Lawrence 1, Granamica 2003 and Ljungskile SK/Groheds IF. V. Frölunda IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Åkersberga FC with 1-4. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Swindon Town FITC Red and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. V. Frölunda IF also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B16 Play off A, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK 2 with 1-2.
