Götene IF

Götene IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Götene IF, 253 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 63 different groups, whereof Götene IF could be found in Group 13 together with Stugsunds IK, Chico Sporting Club and Älta IF Vit. Götene IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Schulz Coaching Atletico with 0-6. In the Final, Imperial Future won over RS Sports and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Götene comes from Götene which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Götene does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Falköpings FK, Lidköpings FK, Skövde AIK, Ulvåkers IF/Värings GoIF, Skultorps IF, IFK Skövde, Ulvåkers IF, Saleby IF|Trässberg|Norra Härene and IFK Skövde FK).
