Stockholm Södra Fotboll

Stockholm Södra Fotboll was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Stockholm Södra Fotboll, 110 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Stockholm Södra Fotboll could be found in Group 9 together with Academy Elite, SC Nienstedten and Onsala BK. Stockholm Södra Fotboll continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Magnet Youth Sports Academy with 0-1. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Swindon Town FITC Red and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Stockholm Södra comes from Norsborg which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Norsborg does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus, IFK Stocksund and IK Frej).
