Laxarby IF

Laxarby IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Laxarby IF, 181 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Laxarby IF could be found in Group 3 together with FC Carolina, IBV and Skene IF. Laxarby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against HK 3 with 0-1. In the Final, Suwannaphum FC won over Rælingen FK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Laxarby comes from Bengtsfors which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bengtsfors does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Eds FF/ Hedekas IF and Eds FF).
