Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK

Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK, 83 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK could be found in Group 1 together with Kensington Soccer Club, IK Zenith and Täby FK Svart. Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Utsiktens BK with 0-1. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Gustafs GoIF/Islingby comes from Gustafs which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gustafs does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Islingby IK / IK Brage, Gustafs GoIF, Islingby IK, Slätta SK and Kvarnsvedens IK).
