Orust FC

Orust FC was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Orust FC, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Orust FC could be found in Group 14 together with Gimonäs Umeå IF, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld and Boo FF. Orust FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ekerö IK 2 with 0-1. In the Final, Ap Orlen Gdansk won over Askims IK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Orust FC also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off B, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy with 1-3. Orust FC comes from Orust which lies approximately 57 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Orust does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Skoftebyns IF, Ale United, Edet FK, Stenungsunds IF, Torp GoIF, IFK Uddevalla, Skärhamns IK, Vallens IF, Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK and Ljungskile SK/Groheds IF).
