Skoftebyns IF

Skoftebyns IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Skoftebyns IF, 175 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 43 different groups, whereof Skoftebyns IF could be found in Group 40 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 1, Alegria FK 2 and Rasner Soccer Academy. Skoftebyns IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Mölnlycke IS/Sjövalla FK with 1-5. In the Final, Makati FC won over Utsiktens BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Skoftebyns comes from Troll which lies approximately 61 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Troll does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Orust FC, Vänersborgs FK, Ale United, Edet FK, Halvorstorps IS, Stenungsunds IF, Torp GoIF, IFK Uddevalla, Vallens IF and Älvängens IK).
