IFK Göteborg

In addition to IFK Göteborg, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Göteborg could be found in Group 5 together with Mjällby AIF, Västerås SK and GIF Sundsvall. IFK Göteborg continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Malmö FF with 1-2. In the Final, Malmö FF won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. IFK Göteborg also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2023. They won Play off A, after beating Djurgårdens IF in the final with 5-4.
