Lekstorps IF

Lekstorps IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Lekstorps IF, 156 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof Lekstorps IF could be found in Group 32 together with Partille IF, A.S.D. ATLETICO S.P.M. CALCIO and Tune IL Fotball 1. Lekstorps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Backatorp IF with 0-1. In the Final, Kista SC won over Pozzuolo Calcio 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Lekstorps comes from Gråo which lies approximately 21 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gråo does also provide 85 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC, Sävedalens IF and Lunden ÖBK).
