Ale United

Ale United was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Ale United, 89 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Ale United could be found in Group 4 together with Valencia CF Academy Canada, Vänersborgs IF and Gimse IL. Ale United continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Qviding FIF with 0-1. In the Final, UF Comércio e Indústria won over Qviding FIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Ale United comes from alafors which lies approximately 22 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around alafors does also provide 88 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC, Sävedalens IF and Lunden ÖBK).
