Legacy Academy

Legacy Academy was one of four clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Legacy Academy, 50 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof Legacy Academy could be found in Group 12 together with First Kick Academy, Lerums IS and IFK Hindås. Legacy Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Norrby IF with 1-3. In the Final, Norrby IF won over Academia Sebastian Roco and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 11. Legacy Academy comes from NAIROBI which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Legacy Academy, the club Diamond FC does also originate from the area around NAIROBI.
