Chivas Guadalajara

Chivas Guadalajara was one of 25 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). In addition to Chivas Guadalajara, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Chivas Guadalajara could be found in Group 4 together with Djurgårdens IF, KIF Örebro DFF and Arna-Bjørnar. Chivas Guadalajara continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 3-5. In the Final, Minnesota Thunder Academy won over NorCal Premier PDP and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). The area around does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: CF Interclubes Mexico, Club Caref, Cefor Jilo, Sisukas FC, IFAC, Academy Elite, Mexico United FC, Cefor San Luis, Nido Valle Dorado and Femelite F.C).
