FC Beirut

FC Beirut was one of three clubs from Lebanon that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to FC Beirut, 53 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof FC Beirut could be found in Group 4 together with Hovås-Billdal IF 2, Hammarby IF FF P09-14 and Östersunds FK. FC Beirut continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against HSK/Frisco with 1-6. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over IFK Kumla White and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. FC Beirut comes from Beirut which lies approximately 3200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Beirut does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Athletico SC and Beirut FAC).
