MTV Treubund Lüneburg

MTV Treubund Lüneburg was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to MTV Treubund Lüneburg, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof MTV Treubund Lüneburg could be found in Group 3 together with IK Östria Lambohov 2, Jeunesse Villenavaise and IFK Göteborg. MTV Treubund Lüneburg continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Murchante FC with 1-7. In the Final, Murchante FC won over IK Östria Lambohov 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Treubund Lüneburg comes from Lüneburg which lies approximately 510 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than MTV Treubund Lüneburg, the club MTV Ramelsloh does also originate from the area around Lüneburg.
