Ayenda FC

Ayenda FC was one of 7 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ayenda FC, 37 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Ayenda FC could be found in Group 4 together with Laholms FK, Avaldsnes IL and Lerums IS. Ayenda FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Furulunds IK with 0-4. In the Final, IFK Wreta Kloster won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Ayenda FC comes from Lissabon which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lissabon does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Racing Power FC, AD Almada 2015, UF Comércio e Indústria and ADA 2015).
