Ekholt BK

Ekholt BK was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Ekholt BK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Ekholt BK could be found in Group 44 together with Belmont United SC, Reds Football Academy and Åkra FC. Ekholt BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Braishfield Bees FC with 1-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Ekholt comes from Moss which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Moss does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Ås IL, SK Sprint-Jeløy, Rakkestad Idrettsforening, FK Eika Krapfoss, Trosvik IF, Tune IL Fotball, HSV Fotball and Fredrikstad Fotballklubb).
