FS METTA

FS METTA was one of four clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FS METTA, 156 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof FS METTA could be found in Group 1 together with Phoenix Football Academy, InterClubes and Örgryte IS. FS METTA continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Breidablik 1 with 1-2. In the Final, Norrby IF won over San Francisco Deltas and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. The area around does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Special Olympics Latvia, JDFS Alberts and Riga FC).
