Anderstorp IF

Anderstorp IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Anderstorp IF, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Anderstorp IF could be found in Group 6 together with Charterhouse School, SV Lurup-Hamburg v. 1923 and Academia Mexico. Anderstorp IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against CCL Soccer Club with 1-2. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Anderstorp comes from Anderstorp which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Anderstorp does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Värnamo Södra FF, Skillingaryds IS and Limmareds IF/Nittorps IK).
