IS Halmia

IS Halmia was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IS Halmia, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof IS Halmia could be found in Group 7 together with Nidelv IL, SV Blankenese 1B and Athletico SC 2. IS Halmia continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Camps Bay Football Club with 0-6. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IS Halmia also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in B15 Play off B, but lost it against Lillestrøm SK with 0-3. IS Halmia comes from Halmstad which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Halmstad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IF Leikin, Laholms FK, Halmstads BK and Alets IK).
