Desert Rangers Dubai

Desert Rangers Dubai was one of 8 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Desert Rangers Dubai, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Desert Rangers Dubai could be found in Group 14 together with Foxes FC, Enångers IK and Angered MBIK. Desert Rangers Dubai continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Desert Rangers Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
