Samuelsdals IF

Samuelsdals IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Samuelsdals IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Samuelsdals IF could be found in Group 31 together with Herrestads AIF, KL Youth Soccer and Eiker/Kvikk IF. Samuelsdals IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/128 Final, but lost it against InterClubes with 0-5. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Samuelsdals comes from Falun which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falun does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Islingby IK, Kvarnsvedens IK, Slätta SK, Falu BS FK and Korsnäs IF).
