Femelite F.C

Femelite F.C was one of 25 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Femelite F.C, 37 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Femelite F.C could be found in Group 2 together with Halvorstorp IS/Football Club Trollhättan, Eskilstuna United DFF and Varbergs BoIS FC. Femelite F.C continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 0-3. In the Final, IFK Wreta Kloster won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Femelite F.C also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in G17 Play off A, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 0-3. Femelite F.C comes from MEXICO CITY which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around MEXICO CITY does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: CF Interclubes Mexico, Club Caref, Cefor Jilo, Sisukas FC, IFAC, Academy Elite, Mexico United FC, Cefor San Luis, Nido Valle Dorado and Intercups MX).
