Karlslunds IF HFK

Karlslunds IF HFK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Karlslunds IF HFK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Karlslunds IF HFK could be found in Group 9 together with IF Fram Larvik, Kristianstad FC and Iberia. Karlslunds IF HFK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Skiljebo SK with 0-2. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Karlslunds HFK comes from Örebro which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örebro does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Hovsta IF, KIF Örebro DFF, IFK Kumla, BK Forward, Adolfsbergs IK, RIK Karlskoga, Nora BK, Lindesberg, IFK, Örebro SK and IK Sturehov).
