Vik IL

Vik IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Vik IL, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Vik IL could be found in Group 13 together with Årsunda IF, Phoenix Football Academy and PSC Soccer. Vik IL continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Seacoast United with 1-4. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Vik comes from Vik i Sogn which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
