Skövde KIK

Skövde KIK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Skövde KIK, 64 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Skövde KIK could be found in Group 16 together with Scandia United SA, IK Uppsala Fotboll and Älvsborg FF. Skövde KIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Schweinfurt 05 with 0-1. In the Final, FC Schweinfurt 05 won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Skövde KIK comes from Skövde which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Skövde, IFK Tidaholm, Ardala GoIF, Tidaholms GIF, Ulvåkers IF, IFK Falköping FF, Skultorps IF, Våmbs IF, Falköpings KIK and Skövde AIK).
