In addition to the two Häcken teams, 63 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof BK Häcken 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Falköpings KIK, Kvaløya Sportsklubb and Racing Power FC. BK Häcken 2 made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 2-3. Thereby BK Häcken 2 finished second in G17 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2023.
