SC Sternschanze

SC Sternschanze was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to SC Sternschanze, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof SC Sternschanze could be found in Group 32 together with IFK Eskilstuna 2, Marin FC and Mölndal Fotboll 2. SC Sternschanze continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Bellevue Futureteam Futureteam with 1-5. In the Final, Burgos CF won over BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Sternschanze comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 31 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: SV Groß Borstel, SV Blankenese, Eimsbütteler TV, JFV Südholstein, SG FCU - Kisdorf, Altona 93, SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Walddörfer SV, FC Este 2012 and SV West-Eimsbüttel).
