KIF Söderort

KIF Söderort was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to KIF Söderort, 50 other teams from 22 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 12 different groups, whereof KIF Söderort could be found in Group 6 together with Sisukas FC, NK Bubamara and BK Häcken 1. KIF Söderort continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken 2 with 1-4. In the Final, FC Villennes Orgeval won over RS Sports and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 11. KIF Söderort comes from Hägersten which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hägersten does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Nynäshamn IF FK, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra, Rågsveds IF and Hammarby IF).
