Ulvåkers IF

Ulvåkers IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Ulvåkers IF, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Ulvåkers IF could be found in Group 5 together with Ås IL, Swindon Town FITC and CD Inter Vista Alegre. Ulvåkers IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Linköpings FF with 1-2. In the Final, Volf Soccer Academy won over Östersunds FK and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Ulvåkers IF also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/64 Final in B16 Play off A, but lost it against Ängelholms FF with 0-3. Ulvåkers comes from SKÖVDE which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around SKÖVDE does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Skövde, IFK Tidaholm, Skövde KIK, Tidaholms GIF, Skultorps IF, Våmbs IF and Skövde AIK).
