Riga FC was one of four clubs from Latvia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). In addition to Riga FC, 35 other teams from 10 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Riga FC could be found in Group 5 together with GIF Sundsvall, Östers IF and NorCal Premier PDP. Riga FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Academia Radu Rebeja with 1-2. In the Final, Academia Radu Rebeja won over NorCal Premier PDP and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). Riga FC also participated in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17) during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in B17E Play off B, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 1-4. The area around does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Special Olympics Latvia, JDFS Alberts and FS METTA).
