Umeå IK FF

Umeå IK FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). In addition to Umeå IK FF, 15 other teams from 8 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Umeå IK FF could be found in Group 3 together with Eskilstuna United DFF, Minnesota Thunder Academy and Bayer 04 Leverkusen. Umeå IK FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 0-6. In the Final, Minnesota Thunder Academy won over NorCal Premier PDP and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). Umeå comes from Umeå which lies approximately 800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (HTF, Mariehem SK/IFK Umeå, Tegs SK, Umeå Södra FF, Röbäcks IF, IFK Umeå, Gimonäs Umeå IF, Umedalens IF, Mariehem SK and Sandåkerns SK).
