Modern Football Academy

Modern Football Academy was one of two clubs from Egypt that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Modern Football Academy, 212 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Modern Football Academy could be found in Group 47 together with JFV Concordia Wümme, Tune IL Fotball 2 and Jäders IF. Modern Football Academy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 47. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sickla IF 1 with 0-3. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Modern Football Academy comes from Benha which lies approximately 3400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
