Nærbø IL

Nærbø IL was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Nærbø IL, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Nærbø IL could be found in Group 14 together with Walddörfer SV, Munksund/Skuthamn SK and FC Staffanstorp. Nærbø IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ytterby IS with 0-4. In the Final, Boo FF won over Northumberland County Schools FA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Nærbø IL also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the Semi final in G14 Play off B, but lost it against Skellefteå FF with 1-2. Nærbø comes from Nærbø which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
