VBR Roanoke

VBR Roanoke was one of 46 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to VBR Roanoke, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof VBR Roanoke could be found in Group 16 together with Karlbergs BK, Esc. Rayados de Monterrey. and Prep Schools District. VBR Roanoke continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Florø SK with 0-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. VBR Roanoke comes from Roanoke which lies approximately 6700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than VBR Roanoke, the club CCL Soccer Club does also originate from the area around Roanoke.
