Arna-Bjørnar

Arna-Bjørnar was one of 56 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). In addition to Arna-Bjørnar, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Arna-Bjørnar could be found in Group 4 together with Djurgårdens IF, KIF Örebro DFF and Chivas Guadalajara. Arna-Bjørnar continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Minnesota Thunder Academy with 3-5. In the Final, Minnesota Thunder Academy won over NorCal Premier PDP and became the winner of Play off A in Gothia Puma Trophy (G17). Arna-Bjørnar comes from Arna which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Arna does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (SK Djerv-Nordnes, Åsane IL and Fana Fotball).
