Årsunda IF

Årsunda IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Årsunda IF, 109 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Årsunda IF could be found in Group 13 together with Vik IL, Phoenix Football Academy and PSC Soccer. Årsunda IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CD Mercedarios with 1-2. In the Final, CD Inter Vista Alegre won over JFV A/O/B/H/H and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Årsunda comes from Årsunda which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Årsunda does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Strömsbro IF, Sandvikens IF, Gefle IF, Högbo AIK and Valbo FF).
