SV Groß Borstel

SV Groß Borstel was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to SV Groß Borstel, 193 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof SV Groß Borstel could be found in Group 33 together with La Academia FC, Sollentuna FK 1 and BK Skottfint. SV Groß Borstel continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against MTV Treubund Lüneburg with 0-1. In the Final, Murchante FC won over IK Östria Lambohov 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Groß Borstel comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
