Billesholms IK

Billesholms IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Billesholms IK, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Billesholms IK could be found in Group 16 together with Lerkils IF, Gimonäs Umeå IF and Altona 93. Billesholms IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Eskilsminne IF with 0-7. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Billesholms comes from Billesholm which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Billesholm does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IF Lödde, Munka-Ljungby IF, Vendelsö IK, Ängelholms FF, Eskilsminne IF, Furulunds IK, Kävlinge Harrie FF, Hittarps IK, Skäldervikens IF and Ramlösa Södra IF).
