Racing Power FC

Racing Power FC was one of 7 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Racing Power FC, 64 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Racing Power FC could be found in Group 1 together with BK Häcken 2, Falköpings KIK and Kvaløya Sportsklubb. Racing Power FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 0-6. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over BK Häcken 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Racing Power FC comes from Almada which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Almada does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (AD Almada 2015, UF Comércio e Indústria, ADA 2015 and Ayenda FC).
