Västerås SK Ungdom

Västerås SK Ungdom was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in SEF Trophy. In addition to Västerås SK Ungdom, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Västerås SK Ungdom could be found in Group 6 together with IK Sirius FK, Helsingborgs IF and Jönköpings Södra IF. Västerås SK Ungdom continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Trelleborgs FF with 1-7. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Trelleborgs FF and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. Västerås SK Ungdom comes from Västerås which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, Åkra FC, AFC Eskilstuna, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Västerås IK and Sala FF).
