Halmstads BK

In addition to Halmstads BK, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Halmstads BK could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Haninge, BK Häcken and Degerfors IF. Halmstads BK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Göteborg with 4-6. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Djurgårdens IF and became the winner of Play off A in SEF Trophy. Halmstads BK also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in SEF Play off A, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-1.
