Degerfors IF

In addition to Degerfors IF, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Degerfors IF could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Haninge, BK Häcken and Halmstads BK. Degerfors IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Jönköpings Södra IF with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Trelleborgs FF and became the winner of Play off B in SEF Trophy. Degerfors IF also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the final in Play off B, but lost it against Kalmar FF with 2-4 and ended up in second place.
