Torshälla-Nyby IS

Torshälla-Nyby IS was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Torshälla-Nyby IS, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Torshälla-Nyby IS could be found in Group 58 together with JSG Grossefehn, BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black and Hasle-Løren IL 1. Torshälla-Nyby IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 58. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Nardo FK with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Torshälla-Nyby IS also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/32 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Ytterby IS Röd with 0-7. Torshälla-Nyby IS comes from Torshälla which lies approximately 320 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Torshälla does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, AFC Eskilstuna, Västerås IK, Munktorps BK, Eskilstuna United DFF and Jäders IF).
