Team Södermöre

Team Södermöre was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Team Södermöre, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Team Södermöre could be found in Group 11 together with Marin FC 2, IFK Västerås FK 2 and Vikingur 1. Team Södermöre continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Älmhults IF with 3-4. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Team Södermöre comes from LJUNGBYHOLM which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around LJUNGBYHOLM does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Möre BK, Smedby BoIK, Hossmo BK, Färjestadens GoIF, Kalmar FF, IFK Berga, IFK Kalmar and Lindsdals IF).
