Valbo FF

Valbo FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Valbo FF, 37 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 9 different groups, whereof Valbo FF could be found in Group 7 together with Lidköpings FK, Älvsjö AIK FF and ATSV Scharmbeckstotel. Valbo FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gimse/Melhus/Gauldal with 2-4. In the Final, IFK Wreta Kloster won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Valbo FF also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in G17 Play off B, but lost it against Rönninge Salem Fotboll with 2-4. Valbo comes from Valbo which lies approximately 430 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Valbo does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Strömsbro IF, Sandvikens IF, Gefle IF, Högbo AIK and Årsunda IF).
